David conducts confidential and discrete independent investigations of internal workplace claims
against for-profit and not-for-profit organizations.
David determines and evaluates the underlying facts through interviews of the claimant and other
witnesses as well as by analyzing relevant documents. Following the completion of his investigation,
he will provide the organization’s Board, senior management, or general counsel with a verbal or
written report consistent with their expressed needs. Those reports may be instrumental in resolving
the underlying dispute, successfully defending claims, or limiting liability should the claims be pursued
in court or before an administrative agency. They may also be used by the organization to determine
whether disciplinary action is warranted if misconduct has been committed.
Depending on the nature of a claim, David also will assess whether applicable organizational policies
have been breached, or whether discrimination, retaliation, whistleblower, trade secret, wage and hour,
or other employment laws may have been violated.
David will also recommend appropriate remedial action to the organization, upon request, based on his
factual findings.
